Barcelona, SPAIN – We are honored to announce participation of Grasshopper Air Mobility as the latest member of Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE). Grasshopper is revolutionizing logistics with sustainable and fully autonomous flight-drive drones, offering door-to-door collection and delivery of industrial and other cargo.

Grasshopper was founded in 2023 by Jakob  Saalfrank, an experienced supply chain professional, together with co-founder Miguel Haza, an experienced aerospace and motorsport engineer to address a need for faster logistics between factories. As leading innovators in advanced drone logistics, their solutions focus on enhancing sustainability, efficiency, and flexibility in industrial logistics.

Grasshopper drones are the ideal solution for Industry 4.0, seamlessly integrating into automated logistics environments. Their drones also fit into manual environments, bridging the gap between various automation levels in the supply chain. Grasshopper solutions save their clients costs and increase their revenue and delivery speed. The e350, a fully electric flying cargo van, will transport a 350kg load up to 200km at speeds of up to 220km/h in the air and up to 10km on the road at 30km/h. This drone is designed to connect to automated conveying systems.

The e7 will transport a 7kg load at up to 125km/h over 25km and has a drive range of 1km. Grasshopper also offers custom drone solutions, developing innovative drones for specific use cases. Any company facing supply chain challenges can approach Grasshopper for a tailored solution, enhancing operational efficiency and addressing unique logistical needs.

"Grasshopper is an early stage drone company and seeks to accelerate business development and fundraising efforts by leveraging the global network and shared expertise of the DLE. Collaboration with DLE members will enable Grasshopper to access a wealth of industry knowledge, expand into new markets, and showcase its innovative solutions to a global audience. This network will enhance our visibility, attracting clients and investors who are seeking cutting-edge technologies in the logistics sector." said Jakob Saalfrank, CEO of Grasshopper Air Mobility.
